The upper echelons of this week’s Xbox gameplay chart haven’t seen much movement, notably the top six holding firm. Interestingly, “Far Cry New Dawn” has enticed more players to pursue its achievements since it rejoined Game Pass. With an array of exciting Game Pass additions on the horizon, we can expect some fresh faces to shake up the top 40 soon.
“Sniper Elite: Resistance” is gaining traction following its recent debut on Game Pass, climbing to seventh place. If you haven’t yet dived into it, Sean gave it a glowing review that might just tip the scales for you. Meanwhile, “Halo Infinite” has made notable strides, jumping from 23rd to 17th after receiving its latest update.
“Far Cry New Dawn” has found its way back into the top 40, landing at 19th after its reintroduction to Game Pass last week. However, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” has slipped from 18th to 22nd. Despite being a remarkable game, the influx of new titles coming to Game Pass in the next few months makes it challenging to juggle so many big AAA games.
Previously riding high on the charts, “Ninja Gaiden 2 Black” has experienced a sharp decline from 11th to 24th after its surprise Xbox release ignited initial interest. “Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap,” also a fresh Game Pass addition, has seen a dip, now sitting at 31st.
Making reappearances this week are “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II” in 33rd place and “No Man’s Sky” at 36th. Both games have had significant updates that are drawing players back in. Meanwhile, “Eternal Strands,” a recent day-one Game Pass title, has dropped from 19th to 38th, while “Hell Let Loose” rounds out the chart in 40th place.
Surprisingly, “Kingdom Come: Deliverance II” hasn’t cracked the top 40 yet, likely due to its absence from Game Pass and its dense RPG nature that requires a time investment. For those embarking on this medieval journey, we’ve got tips and a handy guide on acquiring your trusty horse, Pebbles.
Looking forward, we’re excited about upcoming Xbox exclusives such as “Avowed,” alongside other thrilling Game Pass additions. Which games do you think will climb into the top ten next? Share your thoughts in the comments!
