This week’s Nintendo Switch eShop update brings an exciting mix of retro and new content, just in time to spice up your gaming experience. Classic SNES gems have been added to the lineup, there’s a fresh batch of tracks for the Nintendo Music app, enticing new sales are on the horizon, and a slew of new titles await your discovery.

Nintendo Switch Online fans will be thrilled to see the addition of four nostalgic titles from Koei’s golden era of SNES games. Leading the pack are Nobunaga’s Ambition and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness, which originally captivated audiences back in ’93 and ’94. These strategy classics immerse you in Japan’s Sengoku period, challenging you to unite the regions through cunning strategy and resourcefulness.

Moving on, we have Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire, set during China’s turbulent Second Han Dynasty. This 1994 release allows you to experience the drama of the Three Kingdoms era with strategic depth and intricate gameplay, all inspired by the historical novel.

And if maritime adventures are more your speed, Uncharted Waters: New Horizons should catch your eye. Originally launching in 1993, this title lets you sail and trade across Europe during the Age of Discovery, a true treat for history buffs and strategy enthusiasts alike.

Shifting gears to the Nintendo Music app, the latest update delivers a generous slice of Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s soundtrack. Curiously, only 23 tracks have arrived, leaving us eagerly awaiting the rest. Perhaps more will join the lineup soon.

A New and Noteworthy World – Kirby takes center stage with 23 new tracks from Kirby and the Forgotten Land now available on Nintendo Music. Journey through soundscapes like “Running Through the New World” and “Moonlight Canyon.” Be patient for the rest of the soundtrack to make its way to your playlist later this year.
