You can dive into Doloc Town yourself through a free demo, thanks to RedSaw Games Studio. It’s up for grabs during Steam Next Fest running from February 24 to March 3. Right from the start, the game introduces you to its farming mechanics with a sense of ease, assuming you already know your way around farming sims. While you might find the gameplay familiar, the unique backdrop and storyline definitely bring a new flavor to the table. You’ll meet a bunch of colorful neighbors who give you glimpses into the town’s gritty history—how they’ve managed to weather societal collapse and even defy some form of authoritarian rule. I haven’t pieced together the entire story yet, but that just makes me eager to dive deeper into Doloc Town.

There’s no official release date in sight for the full game, but trust me, the demo is more than enough to keep you entertained for several hours. Although it’s branded as a two-hour experience, I found myself easily doubling that time by fine-tuning my farm and pushing the limits of available upgrades.
