This game, crafted by the creative minds at Divergent Realities, is available on both traditional screens and VR headsets, offering a unique blend of social and collectible card gaming. The developers have announced that the upcoming expansion, titled ‘Ashes of Ur-Enku’, will be packed with exciting new content. Players can look forward to 50 fresh cards, mesmerizing diamond animated versions, a diverse selection of new cosmetics, a revamped season pass, adjustments to game balance, and resets in ranking.
In this expansion, players will venture into the wild realms of Ur-Enku. The storyline follows the daring Plundering Guild as they journey on a risky expedition to hunt fire. This perilous endeavor involves uncovering ancient Dwarven archives hidden beneath layers of vegetation, revealing experiments with the potent energy of Aether. The harrowing tale unfolds with only one explorer surviving the dangerous mission, as shared by the development team.
Since its debut nearly two years ago, Cards & Tankards has continually evolved, with the developers consistently rolling out substantial updates. The most notable recent update was the comprehensive overhaul in Version 2.4 released in December. Earlier, Version 2.3 significantly rebalanced more than half of the game’s cards. Last March brought the ‘Crusade of Sun & Stone’ expansion, and in late 2023, the developers introduced a competitive ‘Ranked Mode’.
