According to a tweet from March 11, 2025 by tphuang, the upcoming laptop will sport a 7nm Kunpeng-920 CPU clocked at 2.6GHz and a fully domestic Power Management IC, with the Unisoc CT100 taking over the clock generation duties from EPSON. It’s anticipated to operate on HarmonyOS’s PC edition, outfitted with a local development toolchain and designed to facilitate DeepSeek functionalities at the edge. Look out for its April launch!

Despite some ambiguity surrounding the specifics of Huawei’s new commercial offering, Huawei Central reports that this laptop will debut under the “Qingyun” lineup.
