It looks like we’re wrapping up the season in the most intriguing way: by tossing Sinistea right into the waters of Undella Bay.
After that Wild Area event from last weekend in Pokémon Go, brace yourself, because the upcoming weekend is going to have a dash of Unova flair.
The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is being unveiled as the grand finale to a Unova-themed season known as “Dual Destiny” in the game. Mark your calendars for February 22 and 23, as they’ll be hosting in-person gatherings in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, CA. Then, hold on as the excitement goes global with events on March 1 and 2. Europe, unfortunately, misses out this time on the in-person fun, likely because the European International Championship is happening the same weekend. This marks the third “Tour” experience, with previous ones held in Las Vegas earlier in 2023 and a bit later in Pasadena near Los Angeles.
Got your eye on those events? Well, tickets are already up for grabs! While the global event welcomes everyone with open arms—no entry fee required—you do have the option to splurge a bit on an extended “Masterwork Research” storyline. This special addition rewards trainers with a shiny version of the mythical Meloetta, fresh from Pokémon Home.
For more scoop, head over to the event’s website. They’ll be rolling out additional info—like which Pokémon will make an appearance—closer to showtime. Rumor has it we might finally see the Black 2 and White 2 box art versions of Kyurem, which accidentally made a brief appearance last year before being swapped back to the standard form.
