Empyreal presents an action RPG nestled within a captivating sci-fi fantasy world. Although its universe glimmers with futuristic tech and intergalactic communities, the ambiance certainly leans towards the fantastical. Here, advanced technology takes on the role traditionally filled by magic, yet the mystical and the divine are deeply embedded within its lore and narrative.

The adventure kicks off with you, the player, landing on an unexplored planet only to stumble upon the ancient relics of a civilization long gone. Surprisingly, this bygone society achieved feats and made discoveries far beyond what our current world understands.

You soon encounter a baffling monolith standing imposingly. Questions multiply—why is it here? Who was behind its creation? What purpose does it serve? And importantly, what immense power does it house? We’re saving the joy of uncovering these mysteries for when you play the game. While Dionysus embodies the spirit of wine and festivities, he also holds dominion over madness and death. At first glance, this combination might seem odd, but it hints at deeper revelations. The expedition members are pivotal characters, each with personal quests offering unique rewards. There are nine quests, each showcasing a unique slice of human nature, highlighting individual ideals, trials, and aspirations.

Take the example of a skilled scientist living in the shadow of their legendary ancestor who revolutionized tech worldviews. Their dream of achieving a breakthrough might finally become reality through the civilization’s lost knowledge. You could help them achieve their dreams, or guide them toward higher, cosmic insights that redefine their earthly ambitions.

Then there’s the veteran, a battle-hardened Quartermaster. He views humanity pragmatically and optimistically, understanding the necessity for solid beliefs as a life anchor. He frequently questions your convictions, playing devil’s advocate on numerous occasions.

Each of the nine characters’ journeys can follow different paths, with endings influenced by your choices, impacting your unique rewards.
