Customize Components

After picking your controller, Xbox Design Lab opens up a world of 10 different customization aspects, helping you craft a controller that stands out. Unsure of your decisions? You can preview your work, save various designs to a personal gallery, and compare them until you find the perfect fit.

Body

For the front casing, your Body choice sets the tone. With the Xbox Wireless Controller, you can choose from matte finishes or vibrant designs like Vapor swirls, multi-toned Shift patterns, bold Camo looks, a colorful Pride theme, or game-specific styles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Fallout. The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 offers matte options, the see-through Cipher series, and game-inspired designs for a unique touch.

Back

Your Back color choice covers everything behind the grips. Match it with the Body or opt for a striking two-tone combination.

Grips

For added control, consider rubberized back and side grips on your Xbox Wireless Controller. These come standard on the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2.

Bumpers

The Bumpers let you customize the top buttons and the case between them. Standard colors are available for the Xbox Wireless Controller, while the Elite Series 2 introduces metallic finishes.

Choose Some Elite Extras

For the Elite Series 2, Xbox Design Lab offers extra customizable elements including a Carrying Case, Charging Pack, Paddle Pack for additional back paddles, and a Thumbsticks and D-pad Pack for swap options. The Everything Pack bundles all these extras. Existing Elite Series 2 owners can buy these add-ons separately.

Adaptive Thumbstick Toppers

In partnership with community members, charities, and a hospital focused on adaptive gaming and 3D printing, we’ve developed free 3D printable files for adaptive thumbstick toppers.
