Nearly a year has gone by since the release of Asgard’s Wrath 2, and now it faces the echoes of Loki’s influence in its latest Cosmic Event.
Launched last December, Sanzaru Games has kept the VR action RPG fresh with ongoing updates through Cosmic Events. These limited-time events introduce unique challenges known as Cosmic Objectives. From battling a vampiric plague to exploring the multiverse and defending against Surtur’s onslaught, the game’s final event brings players back to face Loki in what’s called ‘The Trickster’s Legacy.’
In this event, players are tasked with mending fractured realities. New objectives await, such as stepping through ‘?’ doors scattered across the Uncharted Rifts, navigating deadly trap rooms, completing five divine trials in one Uncharted Rift session, and purging Loki Anomalies throughout the overworld. Those who master these tasks will be rewarded with the Staff of the Trickster, replicas of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, plus various emotes, badges, and titles.
Though ‘The Trickster’s Legacy’ is the last new event lined up, Cosmic Events themselves aren’t wrapping up just yet. Sanzaru Games intends to replay all past events starting with Into the Multiverse, giving players another shot at snagging those limited-time rewards.
Additionally, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is introducing a new outfit, which unlike the rewards from The Trickster’s Legacy, isn’t restricted by time. Exclusive for Meta Quest+ subscribers, this outfit brings a dinosaur-inspired armor from the island of Laramidia and pairs it with a stone blade weapon.
So, if you haven’t yet delved into this world, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is currently available on the Meta Quest platform.
