Rogueside has revealed they’re working on “Best Served Cold,” a visual novel with a detective twist, slated to arrive on the Nintendo Switch.

Picture this: an alternate history of Europe where you, once a mere bartender, now find yourself navigating the shadowy world as a detective at The Nightcap, the town’s last speakeasy. Here, the art of mixing cocktails becomes a tool of trade as you extract secrets from your patrons.

As you lend an ear to customers’ tales, you’ll delve into their personal worlds, aiming to untangle a complex mystery that touches every stratum of Bukovie’s society. From the cash-flashing dandies with a penchant for cocktails to the corrupt cops and shady characters trying to pull you into their schemes, you’ll need to stay sharp. Whether you’re impressing them with your charm or getting tough if necessary, the goal is to gather the information that helps you crack the case.

You’ll encounter 20 distinct characters, each with their own stories, and it’s up to you to decide whom to trust and whom to approach with caution. With five intriguing cases to tackle, your job is to chase down every clue and interrogate every suspect, all while hoping to save both lives and your beloved speakeasy.
