This year, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are slated for some exciting goodies. Four games are gearing up to join the service’s Game Catalog upon release. Among them is Remedy Entertainment’s multiplayer first-person shooter, FBC: Firebreak, which has recently announced a Summer 2025 launch window.
Set within The Oldest House—the enigmatic headquarters featured in Remedy’s acclaimed Control—FBC: Firebreak shifts from the narrative-heavy style the developer is known for to prioritize gameplay. Remedy is dedicated to crafting a live-service experience that ditches those dreaded FOMO tactics. Everything in the game will be freely accessible, allowing players to dive in and enjoy at whatever pace suits them best.
In the newly released trailer, we get a peek at the Paper Chase Job, just one of the intriguing missions in FBC: Firebreak. This mission challenges the Firebreak Initiative to rid a section of The Oldest House of rogue sticky notes. The trailer also provides a sneak peek at the loadouts players will have at their disposal as they tackle the ever-present Hiss threat.
FBC: Firebreak will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through the Epic Games Store and Steam when it finally drops.
But that’s not all—this game is merely one piece of the Game Catalog pie. Players will also get their hands on Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Blue Prince, and Abiotic Factor. Right now, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can play the first part of Lost Records, with the next installment expected next month.
Additionally, PS Plus members can jump into the PS Store’s Spring Sale ahead of the pack. It’s a fantastic opportunity to snag deals on major titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
