Hey everyone, Yosuke Futami here, producer of Synduality Echo of Ada. We’re beyond excited for all you Drifters to hop into your Cradlecoffin mechs and explore the mysterious Amasia alongside your loyal Magus partner when the Open Network Test kicks off tomorrow!
For those unfamiliar with Synduality, let me fill you in. The game is set in the year 2222, a bleak future where toxic rain has obliterated most of humanity, spawning terrifying creatures known as Enders. The few human survivors have retreated underground, only venturing to the surface in massive, 20-foot-tall Cradlecoffin mechs to scavenge for resources. Piloting these mechs isn’t a walk in the park; that’s why each Drifter is teamed up with an AI buddy called a Magus. Your Magus acts as both a tangible sidekick and an assistive digital presence, providing invaluable support during combat. As you journey through Amasia’s ruins, you’ll collect resources vital for upgrading your base, crafting superior Cradlecoffin components, and ensuring mankind’s survival.
True to the storyline, your Magus is more than just an AI; it’s your most trustworthy ally in Amasia’s harsh world. As you delve deeper into the game, your Magus learns and evolves with you, whether it’s pinpointing key resource areas or identifying optimal ambush spots against Drifter foes. One of Synduality’s thrilling aspects is the unpredictable interactions with fellow Drifters exploring alongside you. Will they team up to gather precious resources and defeat formidable enemies, or turn against you to seize what you’ve earned? It’s a dynamic we witnessed during our Closed Network Test—a group safely reaching the extraction elevator only for one to betray and claim the loot. Trust me, relying on your Magus might be your best bet in Synduality Echo of Ada.
Reflecting on our earlier Closed Network Test, we’ve been busy implementing improvements. For newcomers, we’ve crafted a comprehensive tutorial to guide you through the core gameplay elements of this extraction shooter. Being an online game, minimizing lag during raids was a top priority, alongside refining weapon and PvE balance. We’re eager for your feedback during the Open Network Test, as insights from our previous test and participant surveys proved invaluable in crafting the best version of Synduality Echo of Ada.
Exciting news also dropped today about the solo missions in the game. For players eager to dive into Synduality’s lore, these PvE missions explore the collapse of Amasia and the roles of Drifters and Magus in that history. No risk to your gear here, though you won’t get to keep the weapons you find. Dive into these missions to face special foes and sharpen your resource management skills. Uncover the story of Amasia through cinematic cutscenes, audio logs, and more as you progress into the full game.
This Open Network Test brings more garage options, plus new Magus customizations, costumes, weapons, and gear to try out. Veterans and newbies alike are in for an adventure. So suit up, Drifters, and let’s see what you’ve got! And remember, you can prep for the Open Network Test early by downloading the game on your PS5. Good luck out there!
